I didn't authorize a subscription or recurring charge

We get how unsettling that is — let's figure it out together. In almost every case it turns out to be a normal subscription renewal, or a trial that just converted to paid. Here's how to check, and what to do if it really wasn't you.

1. What you actually agreed to at checkout

Before any charge happened, the checkout screen showed the price (including the trial price, if there was one) and what you'd be charged on renewal. You had to actively confirm before anything was billed. By completing that purchase, you authorised us — or our billing partner, depending on the platform — to charge your payment method again on each renewal date. On the website, your first payment also went through 3D Secure (your bank's verification step). On mobile, Apple or Google asked you to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your password before authorising the charge.

2. Where to find your receipts

  • Bought on the website: we sent you a Welcome email when you signed up, plus a separate Premium Receipt email after the purchase with the trial price, the renewal price and cycle, the payment method used, and how to cancel. If you also bought Pro, both lines are on the same receipt.
  • Bought via the App Store: Apple sends a receipt to the email linked to your Apple ID, and the charge shows up on your App Store statement.
  • Bought via Google Play: Google sends a receipt to your Google account email, and the charge shows up on your Google Play statement.

We don't send a separate email for mobile purchases — Apple and Google handle that.

3. Quick checks before you raise it with us

  • 1.Search your inbox (including Spam, Promotions, Updates) for emails from cherry-entertainment.com, Apple, or Google around the date of the charge.
  • 2.iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
  • 3.Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • 4.Web: Menu (Top-right corner) → Help Center → Cancellation Portal → sign in.
  • 5.Could anyone in your household have signed up using the same card?

4. If after all that you still think it wasn't you

  • Email us first: support@skilario.com. Send the transaction date, amount, last 4 digits of the card, and the email you signed up with. Per Terms of Use — billing disputes need to be raised in writing within 14 calendar days of the transaction.
  • Please don't open a chargeback before contacting us — we can almost always sort this out faster directly, and chargebacks raised without first reaching out can lead to your account being suspended.
  • If you genuinely think your payment method has been used by someone else, also let your bank know.
