I was unaware of the charges
Skilario is a paid service, and we know surprise charges feel awful — so it's worth knowing how purchases happen on our service, what we tell you up front, and where to look for the receipts.
How purchases work on Skilario
You unlock paid content with a subscription — Premium, plus an optional Pro tier on top.
Nothing gets charged without your active confirmation
•Before any subscription charge, the checkout screen shows the price, the billing cycle, whether a trial applies, and what you'll be charged after the trial. You have to tap or click to confirm.
Where to look for the receipt
- •Website registration: we send a Welcome email with your sign-in details. It doesn't include subscription or payment info — that comes in a separate email.
- •Website subscription purchase: you also get a Premium Receipt email listing the trial amount and period (if any), the renewal amount and cycle, your payment method, and how to cancel. If you bought Pro on top of Premium, both are on the same receipt.
- •Apple App Store / Google Play: Apple or Google sends the receipt to the email linked to your Apple ID or Google account, and the charge appears on your App Store or Google Play statement. We don't send a separate email for mobile purchases.
If you can't find any of these
- 1.Check Spam, Promotions, and Updates folders, and any other email addresses you might have used.
- 2.Check your subscription list — Apple Account → Subscriptions, Google Play → Subscriptions, or your Skilario profile on the website — depending on where you bought it.
- 3.Check whether anyone with access to your device or payment method might have signed up.
Still not adding up? Email us at support@skilario.com with the transaction date, amount, last 4 digits of the card, and the email you signed up with, and we'll help track it down. Just a heads-up: per Terms of Use, billing disputes need to be raised in writing within 14 calendar days of the transaction date.
